Beacon improves emergency care anywhere, making emergency response dispatch and coordination possible anywhere there’s a mobile phone signal.
HOW TO USE THE BEACON MOBILE APP:
IMPORTANT!!: After registering, be sure to change the settings from "SMS" to "DATA" or you will be charged for the cost of international SMS.
1. Install and open the app
2. Enter your name, telephone number and email and click "Register". After you've entered your phone number in the app, you’ll receive an authentication token with a Key Code
3. Enter the Key Code where indicated and click "Confirm". Once the token has been verified, you will be sent to the Home screen
4. Navigate to the Settings tab on the bottom of the screen and make sure the toggles are set to "Data" and "On-Duty"
IMPORTANT!!: BE SURE TO CHANGE THE SETTINGS FROM "SMS" TO "DATA" OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE COST OF INTERNATIONAL SMS
You are now ready to receive and respond to emergency alerts.

ABOUT BEACON
The Beacon Mobile App is the companion smartphone app to the Beacon Emergency Dispatch Platform, developed by Trek Medics. Once activated through an agency account, the Beacon Mobile App allows first responders to receive emergency alerts from their local call center and be dispatched to local emergency incidents to provide care, transport and coordination.
